in Partnership with Lewisham Construction Hub and Work Redbridge.
Special Thank You to Lewisham College for hosting the course.
We want our people to reach their full potential, so we aim to create a welcoming culture and safe working environment. Kenson Civils & Highways is a believer in ‘Apprenticeships’ and promoting from within. This week our candidates started the first of a 6-week of a programme developed to provide some basic knowledge and experience of working in the Civils’ and Highways Sector.
The goal of the course is to ensure each applicant has the tools and knowledge they need to start and finish an industry approved apprenticeship. Each applicant should have an understanding how to identify materials, tools and use equipment and machinery. As well as each candidate will also receive accreditation and certification, from First Aid, Manual Handling, Banksman to Safe Use of Abrasive Wheels, CSCS, and Street Works.
We benefit greatly from having well-trained apprentices with passion and a strong work ethic. Recruiting an apprentice is not only cost-effective for our business, but also offers young people the opportunity to progress down their chosen career path. This programme gives our Apprentices a head-start for when they start the Apprenticeship.
If you are interested in an apprenticeship or want to register your interest for the next course, please get in contact at Careers@KensonHighways.com.
